A family magician is a performer who not only can entertain the kids but is also able to engage and amaze the adults. This magician can present a repertoire of magic acts that can appeal to audiences of all ages. This skill of the performer is to present a show that is not too sophisticated for the kids and yet not too childish for the adults.

Their shows will often include audience participation acts that feature both kids and adults so that the family audience can enjoy watching each other on stage.
